From as far back as he can remember, Dr. Matt always wanted to be a dentist. Growing up, he loved both science and art, and dentistry became the perfect blend of the two. Inspired by his father, who is also a dentist, Dr. Matt has fond memories of visiting his dad at work—playing with dental instruments, pouring casts, and witnessing the trust and relationships his father built with his patients. Helping people feel confident in their smiles and following in the footsteps of his hero made dentistry the perfect career choice for Dr. Matt.

Dr. Matt earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. He furthered his training through a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville School of Dental Medicine. During his residency, he received specialized training in procedures such as oral surgery, full-mouth rehabilitation, Invisalign treatment, and pediatric dentistry.

Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Matt takes multiple continuing education courses each year to stay updated on the latest dental techniques and technologies.

Outside the office, when he’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. Matt enjoys trying new restaurants and traveling with his wife, RoseAnn. They are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child in early 2025!

Dr. Matt also loves taking walks with his dog, Brody, and indulges his passion for baking desserts—his specialty is New York-style cheesecake. Don’t hesitate to ask him for pictures!
